Commenced in the coal mining industry in 1995 fulfilling a number of engineering and maintenance management positions at both operating underground coal mines in Queensland and major capital projects. Including Engineering Manager for Anglo American’s Grosvenor Mine Project throughout the feasibility phase. Adrian commenced with Singleton Engineering Solutions in May 2014.
CAMERON BRYANT
Director / Manager Design

Commenced in the coal mining industry in 1995 assisting consultants with design and drawing documentation for numerous coal mining studies throughout Queensland and New South Wales. Formally lead draftsman for consulting engineering firms primarily involved in civil and structural design and drawing documentation for ports and harbors and oil and gas disciplines. Cameron commenced with Singleton Engineering Solutions in May 2014.
ANDY MARTIN
Manager Engineering
(B. Eng - Mech)
Commenced in hard rock mining and processing industry in 1997 at the Mount Isa complex in minor projects, before transitioning to the coal mining industry in 2000, fulfilling positions in engineering and operations at operating mines. Other positions include a Project Manager for DBT Australia responsible for delivery of new longwall equipment plus as Manager Mechanical Engineering in the consulting area. Andy commenced with Singleton Engineering Solutions in May 2014.
ELLIS LAWRIE
Manager Proj. & Site Services
(B. Eng - Mech, CPPD)
Commenced in the mining industry in 2005 following 19 years’ hands on and business management experience in the civil, transport and agricultural sectors. Followed with 10 years’ engineering and project management consulting experience in rail, power station, UG mine surface seamgas, mine infrastructure and environmental (managed remediation of QLD’s worst environmental event) work environments. Previously held positions for 5 years as Wagners Australian Business Concrete Manager and then General Manager Wagners Precast (Dowstress). Has recently provided extensive support as BMA onsite owners engineer and projects manager. Ellis commenced with Singleton Engineering Solutions in March 2018.
JAMES BAGNALL
Lead Mechanical Engineer
(B. Eng - Mec, IEAust, CPEng, RPEQ)
Commenced in the underground coal mining industry in 2006 with work spanning many projects of various sizes and complexities. Responsible for concept to detailed engineering design, cost estimation, options assessments, procurement and project management for mine mechanical services, gas drainage and coal clearance systems. James commenced with Singleton Engineering Solutions in May 2014.
DON WINDLE
Lead Electrical Engineer
(B. Eng - Elec)
Commenced in the coal mining industry in 1998 having held various positions in engineering and maintenance management at operating mines. Responsible for the electrical engineering for a number of surface and underground coal mining projects throughout Queensland and New South Wales during the previous 18 years as Lead Engineer – Electrical. Don commenced with Singleton Engineering Solutions in May 2014.
BRAD COONAN
Senior Electrical Engineer
(B. Eng - Elec, MIEAust, CPEng, NER, RPEQ)
Commenced in the mining industry in 2015 with Glencore Mount Isa Mines. Responsibilities ranged from HV switchboard upgrades and mining substation design, through to diesel distribution automation, power systems studies and protection settings for the underground HV distribution network. Obtained CPEng and RPEQ qualification in September 2021. Brad commenced with Singleton Engineering Solutions in November 2020.
