Surface and underground power reticulation systems and equipment. Load flow studies including specialised longwall starting studies.
Services can be provided for the following areas:
Studies: Development of system specifications, scope development, preliminary network and equipment layout designs, cost estimates, execution strategies, options analysis and project approval assistance;
Preparation of capex and opex estimates with consideration of component life and overhaul strategies.
Systems Design: Engineering to establish system design criteria and duty requirements, providing the basis for equipment sizing, including maximum demand and energy consumption calculations, reticulation network configuration and equipment layouts, load flow and fault level studies, cable sizing calculations.
Procurement: Preparation of tender technical packages, tender evaluation, supplier negotiations and contract formation plus project management and expediting of equipment supply.
Drafting: Development of reticulation system configurations, equipment layouts, 3D visualisation and single line diagrams.
Construction: Project management services for site activities, procedure development, construction management, factory acceptance testing and commissioning support, manual preparation and training assistance.
Operational Support: Review, investigation and assessment of systems compliance with the Coal Mine Safety and Health regulation and Australian Standards;
Development and implementation of strategic improvement plans and LOM infrastructure plans.
